Optimal energy conversion takes place via a local coupling of electricity generation and heat recovery, in short cogeneration. The combined generation of heat and electricity creates a very efficient solution that saves at least 10% primary energy.

ABDE has extensive knowledge in the field of CHP, albeit via engines, separate production as with turbines. Our realizations can be found in biomass applications such as biogas engines, but also on natural gas in classic applications such as industry and healthcare institutions. We always realize an optimal project for the deployment of the heat and local electricity supply, whereby the recuperation of energy for 85% is a minimum. We also have extensive experience with industrial applications in the field of gas turbine projects, where local steam supply is paramount.

We were also at the basis of the development of a wet turbine cycle in which an efficiency gain of 5% was realized compared to a traditional gas turbine.
